The disposal of contaminated soil is no longer a problem due to ViroSoil Technology's ability for in-situ treatment leaving permanently bound heavy metal contaminated soil, including lead, arsenic and chrome, safe in a non-bio available form. "Dig and dump" methodology is now permanently and economically replaced by Virotec's total solution to contaminated soil and sediment issues.

ViroSoil technology has been successfully applied to disused industrial sites, contaminated land, agricultural land and aqua culture ponds. ViroSoil is a legitimate phosphate treatment technology but with a difference. It is phosphorus treatment which would otherwise be lost to the environment causing algae blooms (eutrophication) but it allows the phosphorus to be bio-available to plants by an osmosis reaction. ViroSoil is an excellent application for marine dredge sediments/spoils and is used to clean heavy metals from rivers across the world providing a useable aggregate for the building trade.
